About Prescriptions

If you have been prescribed medication for repeat use, then you will receive a tear-off sheet with each prescription you collect, listing your prescribed items.  To request any of these items, please indicate on the sheet, by ticking the box alongside each required item.  Return this sheet to the surgery and allow 48 hours before collecting your prescription from us.

We do not normally accept telephone requests for prescriptions as this can lead to confusion and mistakes.  We are happy to deal with written, fax or email requests.  Email requests can be sent to: SEHCCG.thegrangesurgery@nhs.net.

We also offer a service that allows you to order your repeat prescription online.  Please click here for more information on this service.

More information about prescriptions is available here in our practice leaflet.

Local pharmacists, Boots, Midnight and Day Lewis, collect prescriptions from the surgery each day.  Ask one of our receptionists for advice about this service.  Please allow 72 hours if you are collecting your prescription from a local pharmacist.

It can be difficult to know if an online pharmacy is authentic.  Click here for valuable information about staying safe if buying medication on line.
