Vacancy – Reception Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic GP Surgery Reception Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the medical industry. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of governance and quality. The Reception Manager will oversee the reception team, review team, paramedics etc while fostering a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the GP surgery, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Responsible for setting up clinicians clinics on EMIS.
- Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and morale.
- Implement training programmes for staff on relevant courses in connection with primary care and customer service excellence.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across all areas of the surgery.
Experience
- Proven management/supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is essential.
- Previous experience in working in a reception area is required.
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations and best practices is necessary.
- Experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills within a diverse workforce.
- Background in healthcare essential.
Pay Range
- Pay Range £15-£17 per hour
- Full time hours worked Monday-Friday (no bank holidays)
